Lavender Blue Jadeite Carved Dragon Beads, with flowers. b4-jad502

Lavender jade intricately hand carved focal bead.These are very unique beads with an amazing carving of a dragon on each one. These beads test as Jadeite, the beautiful lavender blue color varies from translucent to opaque and depicts a single dragon wrapped 360 degrees around the bead and biting it's own tail, a symbol of eternity. At the end of each bead around the hole, is a five petaled flower. Detailed dragon carving, mostly lavender, some tan color. Approximately 16 x 22mm. High relief carving, fine quality material. The carving quality of these beads is precise and detailed. This jadeite reacts  weakly to ultraviolet light, which may indicate it has been treated or colored. Approximately 60 carats (varies as they are hand carved). Sold individually.
