Antique Chinese wound glass bead in an opaque mauve.  Approximately 10x11mm.  2.25mm holes.  A gorgeous rare color. These beads date from the early to mid 20th century. These are handmade beads and may be slightly irregular in size and shape, which adds to the unique and genuine quality and beauty of the bead.These beads are popularly called Peking glass but are not true Peking glass. These have the distinctive soft gemstone colors and bubbles of old Chinese glass made in Boshan, Shandong province in China.  Package of 4.
