This necklace features rare antique Chinese Peking transparent glass beads in a fern green color, strung on a knotted silk cord. It includes a large tabular disk and 14 round beads, each approximately 11mm in size. The soft colors, bubbles, and gem-like hues of these beads were originally used as counterweight pendants in Court jewelry before 1911 and later incorporated into Chinese Opera costumes. The necklace measures 23 inches in length, with the pendant having a diameter of 1.5 inches and a double bead threaded clasp made of bone.
