Natural Taiwan Nephrite Jade, 10mm. Vintage Taiwan mined jade from the 1970s-1980s. Excellent quality. lovely rich mottled green, good polish and evenly drilled. 10mm. 0.7mm stringing hole. These beads were purchased in Taiwan in the mid 1980s. 9 inch strand. 20 beads.
The Taiwan mines closed and nephrite jade production ended by the late 1980s. New "Taiwan" jade is not from Taiwan.
