Baltic Amber Necklace, double strand with wood pendant. c. 1940s. j-nlbd2218

This unique necklace features a combination of multicolored nugget amber beads and modernist wood pendant. The beads are graduated flat nugget shapes spaced with a gold plated tubular bead between. This piece is has a gold plate clasp and is 23 inches in length, with the pendant and the second amber strand about 26 inches long. Only one strand goes behind the neck. Original in composition, the necklace is strung on silk thread. Circa 1940's.
