Ancient Indonesian Jatim bird-star bead ancient reproductions. Average 17mm.  The Bird and Star were important iconic motif in ancient Indonesian beads.  Each bead has a bird on one side and a star on the other.  This  is perfect focal beads in a necklace set. Jatim beads were produced in eastern and central Java, Indonesia from 900AD and earlier. These contemporary  Indonesian beads are excellent replicas of the ancient beads. Each one is handmade and finely done and therefore unique.
