These earrings are made from old phenolic resin beads with pleated brass bead caps and chinese turquoise rounds. These resin beads were made Nepal or Tibet, and were meant to imitate petrified Baltic tree sap. They are handmade and vary slightly in size and shape. These are older beads that were acquired in the 1970's by a collector in Nepal. The have recently been used to create these ethnic earrings, and accented with high quality natural turquoise beads and silver plated shepherds hook ear wires. They are approximately 2 1/4 inches long and 7/8 inches wide.
