This long and large necklace likely originates from one of Afghanistan or Turkmenistan's nomadic tribes. It features a central pendant with inscribed calligraphy on the front and floral and both (paisley) motifs. This pendant measures .2-7/8 x 3-3/8 inches, with a flat, smooth back. Two tubular scroll holders that open for prayer scrolls or calligraphic talismans (3-1/8 inches in length, one lacking an end cap and filled with red cotton fabric) are included, as well as one small incense holder with cap and two rectangular Koran holders (1-1/4 x 7/8 inches, open at one end). The necklace features many hollow charms and an incense holder with cap attached to both sides of the chain. The chain is 35 inches in length, 1/2 inch at its widest, with a composition of triple links and round floral shaped links
